Trails and Hiking:
This area is home to some of the best hiking trails in the world. Our trails feature unlimited variety for hikers of all skill sets, from scenic oceanfront strolls to backcountry treks.

Sunshine Coast Trail - This world famous, 180 km hiking trail can easily be explored in smaller sections, or via one extraordinary multi-day hiking vacation! As of this fall, shelters dot the trail at stunning locations and make for an interesting day hike, or a secure overnight experience.

Inland Lake Provincial Park - This 13 km, one-of-a-kind trail, loops around Inland Lake and is fully wheelchair-accessible. The circuit includes boardwalks, bridges, and a crushed limestone path.

Valentine Mountain - This short, uphill climb complete with almost 100 wooden steps, offers one of the most breathtaking views of Powell River, Texada Island, Savary Island and Vancouver Island.

Willingdon Beach Trail - This leisurely beachfront trail offers culturally modified trees and shell middens along the shore, reflecting the activity of the original First Nations inhabitants. Take in the sights and sounds of the surrounding rainforest.

Too many to list, other unforgettable hiking trails include Mount Pocohontos on Texada Island, the Duck Lake and Mud Lake Trails, Crater Lakes, The Knuckleheads, and Savary Island, to name a few.
